- Shut the front door!!! Seriously now, take a good gander at this thing of absolute BEAUTY! Like wow, when I realized I could still eat bread, I became a bread making machine! I was on a quest to find the best grain free bread recipe I could. I think I have tried 20 and this baby right here is my fav…SO FAR! I mean look at how fluffy, and lovely it is. It freezes very well and that’s where we keep it until we need it. Another thing I love about this recipe? The ingredients. Many recipes call for a lot of expensive almond flour, but this one uses almond butter, I know that’s still expensive but not quite as, and to be honest, I would use the almond flour if it made a better loaf of bread, but it just doesn’t so….. BONUS! We use about a loaf of this a week and I always seem to have the ingredients on hand to whip up another loaf.
The recipe is pretty easy peasy- - 3/4 cup Almond butter,
- 6 eggs
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup ground golden flax
- 3 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Combine wet and dry in separate bowls, then add them together. Pour in a standard bread pan lined with parchment paper and bake for about 40 min at 350. I can’t remember where I got this recipe, but it’s not mine, and when I do remember, I will update my post to credit them and thank them for saving my grain free, Paleo butt with this bread!
Looks delicious. I love to bake cakes but dont often bake bread!. IT’s made me hungry 🙂 xx
